Theatro Alla Scala Ansaldo Workshops

All the Scala Theatre’s workshops are located here on the former Ansaldo industrial site: 20.000 square metres of warehouses for crafts (set design, sculpture, carpentry...), costume design and laundry. They also store over 60.000 stage costumes here and there is also a stage space that is identical to the Piermarini stage (La Scala). English tours available.

Armani Silos

This former grain silos contain a curated selection of clothes by the fashion brand from 1980 to today on four floors. Sections such as Stars, Daywear, Exotism, Chromatism and Light epitomise the vision of ‘King Giorgio’ and his timeless aesthetic.

This library, which originated in a private archive, narrates the history of fashion and clothing from the mid-19th century to the present, with magazines, publications – some very rare, catalogues, and lookbooks. They also have magazines specialised in knitwear, accessories and jewellery. An accessible and searchable collection.
