5 irresistible indoor street food markets and trucks in Berlin

This is a usual suspect for the Berlin foodies, with a cantina and bar that are open from Monday to Saturday. Thursday is Street Food Day and there are big markets on Fridays and Saturdays. The products sold here are mostly locally sourced from small-scale producers. Some really good bakeries are represented here too: Sironi, to name just one!

A classic street food market in the courtyards of the old and beautiful brewery called Kulturbrauerei. Entrance is free and nothing should cost more than 5 euros. Come with an empty stomach, the food is delicious! Open every Sunday from 12 pm on, winter and summer.

This market is less of a hipster hangout than the first two. It’s open every day of the week except on Sunday. Most of the food you’ll find here is organic and local. And if you prefer to sit in the sun and enjoy your food at a proper table: restaurant Matzbach has a big terrace.

At the Bite Club street food party, you can enjoy excellent local food and drinks in a very Berliner club-like atmosphere. It’s near the Badeschiff so with a little luck you can even have a swim before you give in to gluttony. Bring cash and check their IG account for updates.

This cafe is one of the few surviving examples of a once mass-produced stall, called K67 Kiosk, designed by Saša J. Mächtig and brought to Berlin by cafe owners Ann-Marie and Martin von Löw. They specialise in Finnish korvapuusti,a cinnamon roll. If you’re a foodie and into retro this little yellow booth will tick all your boxes.
