5 restaurants with a breathtaking view

1) Martinez

Quite a good seafood restaurant, although you really come here for the view: it’s high up on Montjuïc and overlooks a large part of the city. The ideal place for a romantic evening.

2) Restaurant of the Club Natació Atlantic-Barceloneta

Overlooking the beach without being overpriced, the restaurant on the ground floor of this gym serves a great lunch, with an emphasis on fish. Recently a new restaurant opened right next to it: Beach Garden. It’s even closer to the sea, but lacks the down-to-earth Barcelona feel of the Club’s restaurant.

3) Visual - Gran Hotel Torre Catalunya

You wouldn’t expect a place this nice in this part of the city. After all, the area around Sants railway station is more highway than city. But up there in Catalunya Tower is a restaurant with classic Catalan cuisine and a 360-degree view of the city. Awesome.

4) B-Lounge Restaurant

This pretty swanky restaurant is part of the Barceló Raval Hotel and boasts a 360-degree terrace. The food is fine, decently priced and you get a wonderful view of one of Barcelona’s busiest, most colourful neighbourhoods.

5) Mirablau

If you take the Tramvia Blau up Tibidabo hill, this restaurant is where the tram will drop you off. The restaurant faces the sea. Needless to say the view (the city, Sagrada Familia, the sea, Montjuïc...) never gets dull. Mainly tapas, with a slightly adventurous touch.
