Schleifmühlgasse is still the most important address in Vienna for modern art. In 1998, Georg Kargl opened his Fine Arts Gallery with an exhibition space of more than 300 square metres on three floors. Georg Kargl passed away in 2018 but his mission of hosting exhibitions and promoting emerging artist will live on.
