The 5 best hotel and rooftop bars in New York
1) King Cole Bar
Roam amongst the city’s happy elites. Table 55 is, by legend, the most exclusive table in New York. If you reserve it be ready to spend a minimum of 2500 dollars. Here, the bags are Birkin, the faces lifted, and the bottle ordered should be Taittinger Comtes de Champagne 1075.

2) Bemelmans Bar
Red jacketed waiters remind us of the long lost New York iconized by Frank Sinatra. Settle in at the bar for a night to remember, and chat up the Upper East Side clientele. Woody Allen plays on Tuesdays at this spot where live jazz dominates. Pricey cover charge after 9 pm.

3) Temple Court
One of the most astounding spaces to sip a cocktail in NYC, inside a breathtaking nine-story Victorian atrium. In this landmarked 1883 Gothic Revival building, the bar is a study in gold and green, with old-fashioned iron stools, and lighting via small lamps. Get a table and luxuriate in the comfortable opulence.

4) Gallow Green
Total scene above the place famous for the immersive theater experience Sleep No More. Less about views and more about a lush escape from the city. Decked out in greenery and backyard patio lights in summer, dolled up like a log cabin in winter – with amazing attention to detail. Earlier is better, if you want to gain access.

5) B Bar
Down the block from MoMA, B Bar is as stunningly beautiful as a palace, with elaborate namesake crystal chandeliers everywhere you look. At the bar, you may snag one of the bar stools for two (which seem to be popping up more and more). Cocktails will be elegantly presented in iconic Baccarat cut crystal glassware.
