1) La Garriga
There’s not a soul in the capital (and far outside its limits) who hasn’t waited in a line to buy the unrivalled freshly-made Bocadillo de Tortilla (Spanish omelette baguette) at La Garriga’s. Operating since 1956 they recently moved to newer and bigger premises. Although the seedy charm of the old place has been lost, the quality of their goods has luckily stayed the same.
