The city council of Barcelona not only protects a number of very old and beautiful bars from being altered or demolished, they have taken a couple of stores under their wings as well. This means these stores are protected against the exponentially rising rents in tourist areas, etcetera. Gallissa is one of them. The store produces ‘art in wax’, namely a stunning variety in candles.
