Not exactly a B&B, but these five serviced apartments do offer a fresh breakfast delivered to your door. Some of the apartments face Ourigo beach, and all of them are beautifully designed and have a fully equipped kitchenette. The apartments are located in Senhora da Luz, Foz do Douro, just a 15-minute drive away from downtown Porto.

3) Pensão Favorita

Pensão Favorita was one of the first boutique B&Bs to open in Porto, with a low-key bohemian vibe and a charming garden. The 12 rooms offer a mix of modern and retro-style furnishings and each room has a small lounge area.

4) Canto de Luz

Canto de Luz occupies a perfectly restored merchant’s town house, with a traditional tiled façade and modern interiors. There are six spacious suites offering views of the garden or Almada’s cobbled street, while the apartments all come with a kitchen and dining area. There’s also a two-bedroom villa with a pool.

5) Casa do Cativo

Marta and Olivier are passionate about travelling. They created this boutique bed & breakfast after being inspired by some of the places they visited on their adventures.
