What Joana and Sofia love the most about Porto

We love that Porto is a city with an old soul and a rich history that has gone through an exciting period of regeneration. It blends the old and new in a captivating way. You'll find azulejo-tiled churches and baroque-style sights alongside contemporary architecture and a thriving creative scene.

Joana and Sofia's perfect day in Porto might look like this

We’d start the day with a long walk starting at the seafront promenade in Foz do Douro and finishing at the city park, Parque da Cidade.

We’d take our mum for lunch at Cafeína, and then head to Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art. In the afternoon we’d wander around Porto’s historic centre and would end the day watching the sunset at the upper deck of Ponte Dom Luís I, which offers a spectacular bird’s-eye view of our city.
