The 5 most stylish b&bs in Ghent
1) Logid'enri
Interior architect Didier Michiels and his wife have created a sublime B&B in two old Ghent town houses near the city centre. The 19th-century buildings have been decorated in a beautiful contemporary style to create 11 very different guest rooms. The interiors feature appealing touches such as teak floors and designer chairs.

2) Engelen aan de Waterkant
Interior designer Ann Willems runs a B&B in a handsome 19th-century house on the waterfront. The two rooms are beautifully decorated with white furniture and crisp bed linen. The room on the first floor also has a balcony with a table and two chairs.

3) De Waterzooi
Kay and Christian Delens have lovingly restored a 17th-century house facing the Gravensteen to create a gorgeous B&B. The two suites are decorated in a Flemish country house style with big white sofas, comfortable beds, rustic stairs and blazing fires.

4) Graaf.
Kenzo and Gwynn have created a beautiful new B&B furnished with design objects by 30 Belgian creators, including ceramics by Luca Beel and playful pieces by Grint. Each room is named after a person. You can order large or small breakfast, but the owners are also happy to direct you to their favourite local cafes.

5) Korenlei één
One of the most romantic spots to stay in Ghent, this beautiful B&B occupies an old corner house right in the heart of the city. Designed by the owners of the restaurant Korenlei Twee, it has three guest rooms with spectacular views of the Leie waterfront. Reached by a steep wooden staircase, the rooms have wooden floors, old beams, and windows that can be opened.
