Inspiring lunch spots in Belgium

1) Stoom.

Three friends opened a striking coffee bar and lunch spot in the heart of Vilvoorde in 2020. Located in a corner building that was once a bank, it’s a bright, contemporary space with big windows looking out on the street. And there’s a surprise in the basement where the owners have created a kids’ playroom inside the bank’s vault. Locals come here for a healthy soup, or a homemade quiche, or just to meet friends for coffee.
