Artful tables in Belgium for Foodies

1) Wilford T

Wilford T is named after the Wilford X art gallery, which is based in the same building. While chef Tom Vermeiren cooks you a multi-course tasting menu, you’ll be amazed by the regularly changing installations and artworks on display. Tom clearly has a knack for bringing out the pureness of his ingredients through personal touches that match Wilford T’s intimate setting and open kitchen.

2) Pastorale

Pastorale★★ used to be a presbytery, but you would never tell from the modern elegance the restaurant exudes now. It has recently been completely redecorated and, under the supervision of chef Bart De Pooter, focusses on regional vegetables. As Bart is known to be an art lover, art defines both the custom design of his restaurant and the artistic plates featuring young partridge, langoustine or deer calf. Equally impressive is the selection of wines by the glass, which makes up nearly 80 percent of their entire collection.
