5 places to bask in nostalgia in Istanbul

1) Vefa Bozacisi

Open since 1876 and run by the fourth generation of the same family, Vefa Bozacısı has remained virtually unaltered through the centuries. Order a glass of their speciality, boza, a thick drink made from fermented millet and topped with cinnamon and roasted chickpeas and admire the exhibited glass from which Atatürk himself once enjoyed his boza.
