The 5 best places for late night food in Ghent

1) Gök II

The Gök family runs three restaurants in the Turkish quarter named Gök, Gök II and Gök Palace. You might have thought that Gök Palace would be the grand one, but Gök II is more palatial. It occupies a 19th-century town house with lofty moulded ceilings, wood-panelled walls and a little garden for summer evenings. The menu comes with photographs of the dishes so you know exactly what to expect. You can order typical Turkish dishes like grilled meat, moussaka or Turkish pizza. The food is not too bad, but people mainly come here for the friendly staff, the lively atmosphere and the cheap prices. Open until midnight.
