5 great places for healthy drinks in Stockholm

1) Blueberry

Blueberry was founded in 2006 when Ulrika Holm wanted to open a healthy juice bar with a holistic approach. She found inspiration in Los Angeles, London and New York and opened the first Blueberry shop in Östermalm. This is the go-to place for healthy snacks, raw veggie juices and filling smoothies boosted with superfoods.

2) Pepstop

Renée Voltaire pioneered a healthy lifestyle and food in Sweden. Since 2015, you can buy her range of nutritional and beautifully-packaged food products at Pepstop near Stureplan. Cold-pressed juices, bottled kombucha, and teas – this is a great pit stop for an energy boost when running around town.

3) Kallpressen

At the far end of Rörstrandsgatan, Kallpressen produces and sells healthy juices made with organic ingredients, which are cold-pressed and bottled. Tip: You can also find their juices in well-stocked food stores around town if you need to stabilise your blood sugar levels quickly.

4) Mahalo

Mahalo is an entirely vegan, girl-operated cafe in Södermalm. Take a break from the hustle and bustle in Hornsgatan and drink an anti-inflammatory golden milk, a ‘Pussy Power’ or a healthy pick-me-up shot with activated charcoal. They also serve ‘Mylkshakes’ (made of oat milk) and prepare salads, wraps, hot dishes and bowls in rainbow colours.

5) The Green Queen

Across the street from Mälarpaviljongen, you’ll find its little sister, The Green Queen. This is a great hang-out where you can enjoy nutritious, guilt-free food and drinks. Since their opening they have succeeded in convincing Stockholmers to come to the ‘healthy’ side with their plantbased street food, cold pressed smoothies and power shots.
