This formidable bookstore and the pride of Rotterdam was swallowed up by a big chain store that unfortunately went bankrupt in 2014. Due to a successful crowdfunding campaign that raised 250.000 euros, Donner was able to relocate to its current location on Coolsingel, in a former bank building. It’s again a proudly independent and
well stocked bookshop.
