Rotown has a variety of concerts, dance nights and other events scheduled on most days of the week, even on Monday nights. The venue’s history goes back to 1987, when this former Chinese restaurant was turned into a small concert hall, restaurant and bar. Rotown has since welcomed bands like Bright Eyes, Catpower, and Franz Ferdinand.

You can enjoy an excellent lunch or meal in the cosy cabin of this flaming red light vessel from 1951, or enjoy a glass of their home-brewed ale on deck. V11 has its own concert programme, and also cooperates with Rotown. Concert and dance evenings are organised in the cargo hold.

This is the place to go for those who like it loud. Metalheads, hard-rockers and punks from around the country know Baroeg for its wayward programming of ‘hard alternative music’. Baroeg’s history dates back to the early 1980s and it’s still a venue for national and international bands that aren’t invited to play elsewhere.
