What Nathalie loves most about Berlin
"Every neighbourhood feels like a village on its own, because it still breathes its history. I’m still very intrigued by the way the city is dealing with its turbulent past. I also love the many parks and lakes in the city, the international and progressive atmosphere and the tolerance towards every form of sub culture. In Berlin, it's all about who you are, not how you look.”

Nathalie Dewalhens
After having lived in Belgium, Corsica and Southern France, Nathalie Dewalhens ended up in Berlin some five years ago. She quickly fell in love with the city she now considers her home. She loves exploring Berlin by bike, looking for a friendly bar to work in or on her way to host the Poetry Brothel.
"In Berlin, it's all about who you are, not how you look."
Nathalie's perfect day in the city might look like this
"On a beautiful summer day I'd like to wake up early and have breakfast on my balcony. Then go for a coffee in my hood where I hopefully get some writing done. Afterwards, I would take the S-Bahn to Wannsee and go to the Strandbad for a swim and a chill out afternoon. If there’s too many people I’d like to hike (or bike) a bit, maybe until Peacock Island, and find myself a quiet spot.
In the evening I’d like to go for dinner at Neni with some friends and enjoy the city view. On a hot Sunday evening, it is always a pleasure to dance tango or simply watch the dancers and have a wine at the Strandbar Mitte."
